Dr. Jean's great work on Biblical Eschatology following his work on Biblical Theology, that I would strongly recommend read both books back to back. It has great references from classical writing from John Calvin, that's been the millennial question, “A” “Pre” or “Post.” As Berkhof admits, amillennialism may be the historical position of the church since the days of the apostles, but the term itself was not used until early in the twentieth century (Berkhof, Systematic Theology) ( Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2021 )

In the same way ‘Biblical Eschatology’ gave me a brand-new concept of the last Great Commission of Jesus. I was not serious about the command because I used to think the very important thing with God and His people is loving relationship, not works or deeds. This is a great book for anyone who wants to learn more about covenant eschatology through a biblical and historical context. The author repeatedly explains challenging concepts and makes them easy to understand even if you're not an expert theologian, pastor or missionary. Highly recommend!
